Novice HL Transition to Full Ice

    Rules/Game structure:

2 min warm up, 3 x 10 minute stop time periods.  Third period switches to run time if required to complete the game on schedule.

Home team provides the volunteer timekeeper/scorekeeper. 

Two referees.

Three goal limit per player per game.  (A fourth goal by a player would not be counted, face off at the dot closest to where the shot came from.) 

Regular game sheets (three carbon copies:  team, team, convenor)

All players are to be played equally.    

The 2 minute buzzer system will be used for line changes.  (Clock stops at



 buzzer, whichever players are changing make their change, then a face off at the dot closest to where the puck was at buzzer.)   For example, a team with 8 skaters could change two forwards and one defense.
